NEET UG Counselling 2023 Round 2: The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG Counselling 2023, conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), is in full swing. As the second round of counselling progresses, candidates are urged to complete their choice-filling process before the deadline. The choice-filling and choice-locking window for the second round of NEET UG Counselling 2023 will conclude today. Registered candidates are advised to promptly fill and lock their preferences of courses and colleges through the official website, mcc.nic.in. The choice-filling window closes at 11:55 pm, while the choice-locking option is available from 3 pm to 11:55 pm. Candidates who fail to lock their choices will have them automatically locked.
As per the NEET UG Counselling schedule 2023, the seat allotment process for round 2 is set to take place from August 16 to 17. The results of the round 2 seat allotment will be declared on August 18. Successful candidates are required to report to their allocated institutes between August 20 to 28.
MCC has introduced 584 additional MBBS seats under the All India Quota for various categories across medical colleges in India. Here is a breakdown of the newly added seats by state and institute:
