NEET UG 2023 results: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has confirmed that the results for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG 2023) will be declared next week or within the following week. This announcement comes after the successful conclusion of the Manipur re-exam on June 6. The NTA aims to release the NEET UG 2023 results simultaneously for over 20 lakh candidates.
The NTA conducted the NEET UG 2023 examination on May 7, accommodating a total of 2,087,449 candidates across 499 cities in India and 14 cities abroad. This highly anticipated medical entrance exam serves as a crucial gateway for aspiring medical students.
In response to the Manipur violence, the NTA organized a re-examination for candidates who were unable to appear at certain exam centers. The re-exam took place on June 6, providing these candidates with an opportunity to showcase their abilities.
To ensure transparency and fairness, the NTA uploaded the NEET UG answer key on June 4. Candidates were granted a window until June 6 to review the answer key and raise challenges, if necessary.
The eagerly awaited NEET UG 2023 results will be announced by the NTA next week or in the subsequent week. Due to the large number of candidates involved, the results will be declared simultaneously for all participants.
Following the release of the results, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will promptly announce the NEET UG counselling schedule. The counseling process will cover 15% of All India Quota (AIQ) seats in government colleges, as well as 100% of seats in deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), JIPMER, and BSc Nursing programs. The NEET 2023 merit list will serve as the basis for the counseling process.
